National Credit Report: Detailed review

Although National Credit Report offers credit advising services and credit monitoring services, most customers initially approach National Credit Report for their free credit score reporting service. National Credit Report most definitely offers prompt and accurate credit score reports. In fact, most customers report recieving a credit score report within one day of signing up. Unfortunately, the "free" in free credit report appears to be questionable. In order to take full advantage of National Credit Report's free credit score service you must sign up for a "free" seven day trial. The trial comes at a (supposedly) refundable nominal fee of $1.95. After the seven day trial users will be charged $14.95 per month. According to many customer reviews National Credit Report mishandled or outright ignored requests to cancel the free trial period. All of these customers were then charged the monthly fee and struggled with customer service to get the charge removed. Essentially, National Credit Report does offer a good free credit score service, but you might have to work harder than you would expect to actually get the credit report for free.
